Our Concept
Silicon in Agriculture

Silicon
Silicon, Si, the 14th element of the periodic table. Silicon may appear in a few forms in the soil. Silica, SiO2, are compounds with silicon and oxygen. Silicate refers to silicon compounds such as CaSiO3 and MgSiO3. Silicic acid or mono silicic acid (Si(OH)4, or H4SiO4) refers to the soluble and plant only available form of silicon in the soils, the only form of silicon that can be directly absorbed by plants.
Silicon benefits
Silicon is proven to be beneficial for many crops when added to fertilizer although it is not classified as an essential element for most plants. However, it can be beneficial for the plants when added into the soil. Most plants can take up silicon in amounts comparable to macronutrients. With the higher concentration of silicon in a plant, it contributes to the plant's mechanical strength. Silicon may protect plants from pest attack, disease and environmental stress by raising the plant’s defense response.
Key benefits of silicon in plants:
-
Increase soil’s cation exchange capacity (CEC)
-
Increase plant yield
-
Neutralize acidic soil
-
Strengthens plant wall
-
Inhibits the growth of fungi and bacteria
-
Protect plant against lodging, drought, temperature extremes, UB irradiation, chemical stress (salt, heavy metals and nutrient imbalances)
Soil Conditioner
Bioregulator
Structural component
Silicon bridges increase aeration and reduce leaching
Disease response, water and mineral balance
Increases cell wall strength & plant strength.

The Super Silicon Fertilizers 20 are engineered using Active Silicon (Silicid Acid, H4SiO4) compounds, added with Humic Acids (HA) and Effective Microorganisms (EM) which produces organic NPK and micro elements.
Its neutral or alkaline pH levels meant that the Super Silicon 20 Fertilizer can ease

The Super Silicon Fertilizer 20 looks just like small dark pallets. But its punch is found in its non-toxic and non-corrosive properties.
The Super Silicon Fertilizer 20 also prevents solid phosphates and reduces the negative effects of dissolve phosphates in the soil.
At the same time, the Super Silicon Fertilizer 20 also helps to maximize potassium usage by increasing its solubility.

These helps to increase nitrogen content in the soil by improving the chemical reaction of organic nitrogen molecules.

Studies
Silicon fertilizer had proved to be beneficial is suppressing and preventing many fungi diseases such as Basal stem rot (BSR) caused by fungus Ganoderma boninense. One study(read more) from University Putra Malaysia, UPM shows that there is a 53% disease reduction of BSR with Silicon supplement compared with other treatments at the same time also reduce the numbers of primary roots infected and stem issues.
